Welcome to Lou Chaolong Hauz, a charming culinary gem nestled in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, that invites you to savor the rich flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. This delightful chaolong house boasts a casual and welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for both locals and travelers seeking a hearty meal without breaking the bank.

At Lou Chaolong Hauz, you can experience the delightful symphony of flavors in their signature dishes. The focus here is on noodle soups, particularly the beloved chaolong that warms the heart and satisfies the soul. Imagine slurping up steaming noodles in a savory broth, each bite brimming with depth and comfort. The garlic cheese baguettes are a must-try, providing a pleasantly crunchy contrast to the soft noodles and tender meats. Customers rave about the beef stew soup—a harmonious blend of robust flavors—and many suggest pairing it with their mouthwatering garlic bread for the ultimate treat.

One standout feature of Lou Chaolong Hauz is its affordability. As noted by satisfied patrons like Julie Suarnaba Bautista, it's one of the cheapest chaolong houses in town without compromising on taste or quality. Keep an eye out for their promotions, such as "buy 4 bowls and get garlic bread for free", adding even more value to your dining experience.

While some guests, like Mz M, felt the seasoning leaned towards the salty side, others found the flavors straightforward, with Alena Pavlova praising the richness that comes from a simple yet authentic Vietnamese style. The establishment offers free water, ensuring you can quench your thirst while enjoying your meal.

For those revisiting Puerto Princesa, Lou Chaolong Hauz holds a special place in the hearts of long-time customers like Jules Sacayan, who fondly recalls returning since 2015 for the consistent and enjoyable taste. Given its uncomplicated dining experience paired with genuine flavors, it's a must-visit destination for both newcomers and returning visitors.

If you're in search of a simple yet satisfying meal that evokes the essence of Vietnamese comfort food, look no further than Lou Chaolong Hauz. Experience the love and dedication poured into each bowl, and discover why this little eatery has become a favorite in Puerto Princesa!

One of the cheapest chaolong house in puerto princesa. They served good noodles and soup at a very affordable price. When we visited, they have promo: buy 4 on any of their chaolong and you'll get garlic bread for free.

It's kinda salty for my taste. I still need to find an Authentic Vietnamese Pho. I like the Garlic bread though.

One of our go to chaolong house. Dishes are served fast and always with a big serving. We love how they keep on improving their dishes. Prices are a lot higher than usual but worth it. If you have allergies to chicken or chicken egg, try not to order the specials since it has a lot of egg in it. But if you don't have any allergies and you can afford it, try it. Highly recommended Updated pricing posted for future reference

With parking spaces (store front and roadside); well-seasoned soup base

Food is tasty and the pricing is reasonable. The place is quiet and clean. One of the setbacks would be the availability of drinks other than water. The other one would be, accessibility to their location as it would require having your own vehicle, since tricycles are no longer allowed in the main streets.
